    Hi All,

I am a doctoral student planning to do a study involving variables
associated with turnover/turnover intent. It will be highly appreciated if
anyone can share with me any idea on what turnover framework or empirical
    studies might be helpful.

    Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Kevin,

    Take a look at:

    Pondy, L. R., & Pate, L. E. (1989). A longitudinal field study of the
intervention process using archival measures of employee absenteeism and
turnover. Journal of Organizational Change Management, 2(2), pp. 40-52.

    Hi Huang Lei,

In Academy of Management Annals (Volume 2), there is a very good
review paper on turnover research, Turnover & Retention Research:
A Glance at the Past, a Closer Review of the Present, and a Venture
into the Future by Holtom, Mitchell, Lee, and Eberly.

I am sure that paper will be helpful to answer your question.

    Kevin,
You might want to look at an article that identifies five panels of
variables, including turnover intentions, job search behavior, and
    turnover.

Kopelman, Rovenpor and Millsap (1992), "Rationale and construct validity
evidence for the job search behavior index: Because intentions (and New
Year's resolutions) often come to naught," Journal of Vocational
    Behavior, 40, 269-287.

    Best,
    Richard Kopelman
