Submissions to the Annual Review Issue of Work, Aging and Retirement (6-page proposals due Jan 31, 2015)
Although empirical work drives much of the research on worker aging and retirement, this research is guided by strong conceptual and theoretical models. For this reason, Work, Aging and Retirement will introduce an annual review issue, the first of which will appear in 2016. Submissions to the review issue can take two forms: (1) papers that summarize or integrate existing literature on a topic, and/or (2) papers that provide conceptual and theoretical development on an important issue. Rather than submitting a complete paper, authors submit a short (6 page) proposal describing the review, why it is important, and the ability of the author team to meet the final deadline for the complete paper. Proposals will be reviewed by the editorial team. For those proposals that are accepted, the complete paper will be invited and submitted for a later date.
The deadline for proposals for the 2016 Review Issue is January 31, 2015. Specific guidelines for the submissions are available here http://workar.oxfordjournals.org/cfp.html
If you have any questions about submitting to the Review Issue, you are welcome to contact the editor, Mo Wang (wangmo2008@gmail.com).
Best,
Donald Truxillo
