  • 1.  Looking for a compact survey for use with multiple motivation theories

    Posted 09-03-2008 09:49

    Good Morning:

I am working on a study of student computer usage for which my colleagues and I believe that personal motivation may affect outcomes. We would like to use survey questions that touch on expectancy theory, reinforcement theory, and equity theory concepts.

Any advice on sources for these?

    Thanks.

    Jack

    Jack,
If you're interested in online learning, try:
-Martins, L.L. & Kellermanns, F.W. (2004). A model of business school students' acceptance of a web-based course management system. Academy of Management Learning and Education, 3(1), 7-26.
-May, G.L. & Short, D. (2003). Gardening in cyberspace: A metaphor to enhance online teaching and learning. Journal of Management Education, 27(6), 673-93.
The best research on online learning
I've found all-in-one-place is the Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks,  http://www.sloan-c.org/ publications/JALN/
