I am working on a computer simulation involving protected group status and
organizational mobility. (I have published two such studies). For this
project, I need an estimate of the validity of promotion procedures used to
select managers for advancement. Or even simply the validity of promotion
decisions apart from any particular method. Somehow I should know this but
I can't put a finger on a particular study that provides such an estimate. I
would be grateful for any guidance on this matter.
