H. N. Saurage Jr./Community Coffee Chair AND PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT
Louisiana State University seeks to fill the H. N. Saurage Jr./Community Coffee Chair and Professor of Management. Required Qualifications include: Earned doctorate degree in Management or a related discipline; an established record of high quality publications; a continuing research agenda; an interest in faculty and student development; and a willingness to interact with the statewide business community. Additional Qualifications Desired: Expertise in Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management, with secondary interest in Entrepreneurship a plus. Excellence in teaching and research is expected and will be supported. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a distinguished academic research record through publications in major refereed management journals; teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate level; contribute to the development of faculty and doctoral students; and interact with the local business community.
The Department of Management and the College of Business Administration at LSU provide outstanding collegial and financial support for productive research and teaching. The Department offers B.S. and Ph.D. programs of study and maintains strong ties with the business and public sectors of the region. In addition, it participates in a number of on-campus MBA and continuing education programs. Baton Rouge and nearby New Orleans provide numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents.
