One of my Accounting colleagues, Janicke Rasmussen, likes to ask for help
from the OB community on the following. She is doing her Ph.D. research
within the field of corporate governance, on board-of-directors evaluation,
and interviewing board members of large listed companies in Norway using
    open-ended questions.
She'd would like to get in contact with researchers who might share their
experience in analyzing taped interview data, notably with reference to
useful software programs, relevant websites and/or user groups, and
doctorate-level courses in qualitative data analysis (preferably in Europe).
Please copy her directly into your response, using Janicke.Rasmussen@bi.no
Thanks in advance for your help!

This links to a bunch of sites about qualitative data analysis and content analysis.

    also see

I just found this free software

    Hi Janicke,
Try the British Academy of Management for training sessions:
    http://www.bam.ac.uk/news/articles.php?type=2
They do a lot of doctoral and methodological training, all in the UK.
    Good luck, Birgit
