On behalf of the Committee for the Network of Leadership Scholar Awards I am glad to inform you that the Network of Leadership Scholars 'Eminent Leadership Scholar Award' for 2015 will be awarded to:
Robert C. Liden
From the University of Illinois at Chicago.
This award recognizes a senior scholar whose work best reflects the mission of the Network to advance interdisciplinary dialogue and discussion regarding the study and practice of leadership. The award reflects an outstanding body of work that has made a substantial and original contribution to the field of leadership studies. The nominee has also contributed to the discipline in ways that complement his scholarship (e.g., editorial board service, mentoring of outstanding students in the field and other functions).
This award is sponsored by Elsevier
We had many excellent scholars who were nominated for the award and the choice was not an easy one. We thank all the people who took the time to send out excellent nominations and encourage them to re-submit them next year.
The award will be given at the AOM conference in Vancouver.
Sunday, August, 9th, 2015 at 4PM
It will include a talk by Prof. Liden and a reception to follow.
We invite you all to come and join.
Looking forward to see you at AOM,
