    Hello Colleagues,

The sad news of Jerry Hunt's passing makes one of our scheduled sessions for
Anaheim even more special. Jerry is the recipient of the Eminent Leadership
Scholar Award this year in honor of his groundbreaking thought and
pioneering work in the field of leadership. Jerry was proud to receive this
award and looking forward to being with us to present his reflections on his
lifetime's work. Besides the many contributions Jerry has made to the field,
he was also editor of The Leadership Quarterly, founder of the Institute
for Leadership Research at Texas Tech University, and co-founder of the
Network of Leadership Scholars. We are pleased to announce that Donna Hunt
will now be joining us to receive the award for Jerry and Kim Boal will
present the address that Jerry prepared.

We invite you to join us to celebrate Jerry, his love for this profession,
and his lasting contributions to the field.

When: Sunday evening, from 5-6 pm.
Where: The Anaheim Marriot, room Platinum 9.
    Session #461 (organized/submitted by Mary Uhl-Bien)

Also, we wanted to pass along (as many have inquired about donations and/or
flowers in honor of Jerry) that Jerry's family has asked that in lieu of
flowers, contributions be made to Jerry and Donna's Scholarship at Texas
Tech (a place we all know Jerry loved dearly!) If this is of interest to
    you, the information is below...

    Make checks payable to:
TTU Foundation Memo Section: The Jerry & Donna Hunt Scholarship Endowment

    TTU/Rawls College of Business
    Box 42101
    Lubbock, TX  79409-2101

Looking very much forward to seeing you all at this very special event.
Best, Kim Jaussi and Mary Sully de Luque
