    I am conducting a literature review into the leadership of diverse teams (including bio-demographic and job-related diversity). To date, my review has yielded a small amount of interesting research but I am seeking your input. Has anyone found any good references linking leadership to the performance or processes of diverse groups?

    My colleague, Qiumei Xu, and I have been recently conducting a review of the litterature on diversity, personality and leadership.  I agree with you that there is limited scientific knowledge about this topic. I am sending you what we found so far. 
     
    Please let us know about what you have found.  Maybe this could become an opportunity for an eventual collaboration.

    Eric Kearney and Diether Gebert have an article in press at JAP on the role of transformational leadership in managing team diversity: "Managing Diversity and Enhancing Team Outcomes: The Promise of Transformational Leadership."
