    The Department of Psychology at Portland State University has two
    tenure-track openings in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at open
    rank levels with a September, 2009 start date. The department has a
    strong applied research orientation and has an Applied Psychology Ph.D.
    program with specializations in Industrial/Organizational, Applied
    Developmental, and Applied Social/Community psychology.

    Qualifications include a doctoral degree in I/O psychology or related
    areas. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialization
    in Quantitative Methods and/or Occupational Health Psychology, although
    the area of specialization is open. The successful candidate will be
    able to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in I/O psychology as
    well as courses related to the applicant’s particular area of expertise.
    Responsibilities include maintaining a productive program of
    community-based research; teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in
    I/O; and supervising student theses and dissertations. Candidates
    appropriate to this position will have an established research and
    publication record in I/O psychology (Associate/Full applicants), or
    evidence of the potential to developed an established research and
    publication record in I/O psychology (Assistant applicants).
