Dennis
I would try writing directly to Cialdini as someone who follows a lot of
different lines of work on social influence. It may help to clarify: Do
you mean the perception, by the target of influence, that he or she has
been influenced and in which manner (compliance, internalization, etc.)?
Depending on what you are after, it might be relevant to measure the
influence tactics that the target perceives to have been directed at him
or her. To a large degree these could be mapped to compliance based,
internalization based etc. by drawing upon the reference to Raven in my
paper posted at:
http://www.arts.uwaterloo.ca/~jmichela/board/MichelaGreenstein2008.pdf
which should be equivalent to
http://www.arts.uwaterloo.ca/%7Ejmichela/board/MichelaGreenstein2008.pdf
Good luck
John
