    Dear Colleagues,
    I am pleased to send you information about an upcoming conference, New
    Directions in Leadership Research, being hosted on May 31 – June 1, 2008 by
    Duke University’s Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics (COLE). The
    conference focus in this inaugural year is on novel and generative research
    on leadership.

    Conference Format:

    • Sessions begin Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and conclude Sunday at noon
    • Six 1 ½ hour sessions
    • Approximately three presentations per session to allow ample time for
    discussion
    • No concurrent sessions so participants can hear all presented work
    • All presentations will take place at Duke University’s Fuqua School of
    Business

    Registration:

    Limited space is available for this conference. Conference registration
    fees include all breakfasts, lunches, breaks and materials; one or two day
    attendance options are available. A block of rooms have been reserved at a
    discounted rate at the Durham Marriott at the Civic Center. If you are
