Please join our all-star panel of executive editors from Harvard Business Review, Human Resource Management, Organizational Dynamics and People & Strategy in Vancouver.
The PDW panel will present "Publishing Beyond the Academy: Editors Share Tips on Publishing for Impact in the "Real World" (Program #411). Most researchers want to make a difference within their scholarly communities as well as within organizations where managers and HR professionals practice. This PDW focuses on how researchers can have greater impact on practice by publishing on important topics and in journals that are circulated beyond the Academy. This interactive workshop will show how academics can tease out aspects of their research that could make a difference in practice - and show how to publish these insights in "theory-practice" journals that are successfully bridging the academic-practice divide.
