We are developing an "assurance of learning" document as required by AACSB for our undergraduate course called Principles of Management. Does anyone have a copy of such a thing that they could share. Trying to make this less painful. Gratefully yours.

What we did at a former university was give students a pre-assessment of
the core courses before beginning them (a MC test consisting of items from
    each class).
Then we got information from the actual tests they had in each class that
covered those topic areas that were pre-tested. The improved aveage score
    validated learning.

    Dear Robert,

There is a saying in Britain that goes like this: I don't want to teach your grandmother to suck eggs, which means that I don't want to suggest something in which you are already experts; but my approach in all my classes is to tie the assessments directly to the learning objectives. I start with what I want the outcomes to be, and then design my assessment accordingly.

    I hope this helps.
