    Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Raymond J. Harbert College of Business, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. The Department of Management seeks to fill this tenure-track position in human resource management/organizational behavior with a start date of August 2016.

    Position Qualifications: Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in human resource management, organizational behavior, management, I-O psychology, or business from an accredited institution before the date of employment.

    Candidates' academic concentration and research programs should be in areas related to human resource management or organizational behavior. 

    Applicants must provide evidence of teaching competence (e.g., student evaluations) and research excellence (e.g., publications in high quality academic journals in human resource management/organizational behavior and related management areas).

    The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time the appointment begins and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent communication skills are required.

    Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach courses in the human resource management and organizational behavior curriculum areas at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, Master's, and Ph.D.) levels. The specific courses taught and course load are dependent on departmental needs and negotiable with the chair of the Department of Management.

    The faculty member is expected to maintain a consistent publication record in premier scholarly journals, demonstrate teaching competence, and provide some departmental, college, or university service. In addition, participation in the Ph.D. program is expected, including research projects with doctoral students, recruiting and mentoring doctoral students, and serving on dissertation committees.
