  • 1.  Case Book for MBA Organizational Behavior Course

    Hi all,

I am hoping for recommendations for a good case book to supplement the text for an MBA-level Organizational Behavior (OB) course.  Does anyone have any suggestions of a case book that has good OB substance that MBA students can present during the course?

I am happy to compile responses to give back to the group.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

You ought to take a look at Cohen, Fink, Gadon and Willits, which I think is still
available from McGraw Hill. It is a combined case book and text.

In general, publishers aren't putting case books together any more--instructors
want too much variety in the cases they use, and the books go out of date
quickly. You may have to compile your own cases from HBS, Darden at UVA,
    University of Western Ontario, etc.

    Hi Steve

Good to hear from you. Try "The ropes to skip and the ropes to know." It is not really a case book, but rather a series of short scenarios and interactions in an organizational setting with fictitious characters playing different roles in every scenario, but I think it does an excellent job in showing OB concepts as they are manifested in "real life" situations.
