In addition to the Denison (1996) article I would also suggest the
below articles and book chapters. I think the Reichers & Schneider's
chapter (1990) is particularly helpful.

There's nothing like reading the anthropologists' writings directly. It's
a great book for background reading on culture (not org culture as such).
