    Organization Behavior/Human Resource Management

     

    The Department of Managerial Studies within the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for one or more tenured or tenure-track faculty position(s) in organization behavior/human resource management beginning August 2016. This is an open rank position.

    Applicants at the Assistant level must have a Ph.D. completed or near completion, and preference will be given to those with one or more publications in top tier journals, including but not limited to the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management and Personnel Psychology. Applicants at the Associate or Full Professor level must have a Ph.D. and numerous impactful top tier publications and strong evidence of future scholarship.

     

    In addition to scholarly productivity, we are seeking applicants who are interested in working actively with doctoral students and contributing to our OB/HR doctoral program. Applicants preferably have experience independently teaching OB and/or HR courses. Evidence of teaching quality will be assessed.

     

    This search will remain open until the position(s) is (are) filled. The salary will be very competitive with leading research universities.
