The Organization and Human Resources (OHR) Department in the Business School at Renmin University of China is recruiting for two positions for Fall 2008: one in organizational behavior and one in human resource management/ organization theory. Salary and benefits for the positions are competitive among China top universities and based on applicant qualifications and experience.
Applicants: The positions require a proven ability
to generate research at the quality level of A- or B-journals. We are
interested in applicants with PhD. (by August, 2008) or those at the mid to advanced assistant
professor level with a publication record in top journals. In addition,
demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required, and candidates will be
expected to contribute to the teaching of undergraduate, Master, and Ph.D.
courses. Applicants with research and teaching interests that extend
beyond OB (e.g., to HR, OT, MT or entrepreneurship) are of
particular interest to us. Both research and teaching are evaluated and
heavily weighted in our performance appraisal and tenure review
processes.
