I've received several emails from you requesting for information on accessing AOM listserv email postings, e.g., searching for a specific posting or discussion. I want to share the following information about AOM listserv usage, some of which you might find useful:
The AOM listserv provides full content search capability which is very useful to locate archived emails (yes, all listserv emails posted since June/2006 are archived on the AOM listserv and are accessible from here http://aomlists.pace.edu/archives/ob.html). This feature is really nice for content mining.
Archived emails are organized chronologically by subject heading. So, once located a particular posting, you can quickly retrieve all email responses to that posting, related by the subject heading.
Do you feel that the listserv postings are cluttering up your mailbox? you can set your preference to receive only 1 summary email per day or per week from OB listserv. For instance, you can request listserv to aggregate daily postings into a list, e.g., a digest, and send it to you once per day or once per week. Better yet, you can ask listserv to forward you a list of "indexes" to the postings once per day or once per week. You can click on these indexes to retrieve the full archived email postings if you are interested in reading them.
