    Hi all,

     

    Some months back I had requested ideas and suggested readings for a doctoral course in leadership.  I want to thank Dianna Stone, Bradford Baker/Kathryn Bartol, Nagaraj Sivasubramaniam/Marty Evans, Austin Nichols, Ethlyn Williams, Ronald Piccolo/Bruce Avolio, and Tara Wernsing for sharing syllabi and reading lists.  Thanks also to Kelly Fisher, Sean Lyons, Uma Iyer, Michael Provitera, and Arianne Ollier-Malaterre who provided useful suggestions.

     

    I am attaching the syllabus and reading list that I am using this semester.  It is based on their input as well as some new material.  It is meant to introduce new doctoral students in leadership studies to the field, and emphasizes breadth more so than in-depth study of any particular leadership topic/theory.
