I'm probably not the only one on this list who has no idea what that means.
I put the phrase into a dictionary translator
(http://dictionary.reference.com/translate/index.html), which says it means,
"If it does not give a little but approach than it looks for, so you see we
can help." I still have no idea what it means.

Gary, could you please provide an English translation when you post in
Spanish to the list?

Hello Julio,

Most instruments have copyright ownership therefore you need to investigate the ownership of the scales. Most researchers are OK with having people use their instruments for research purposes for no fee but still you need and authorization. I am from Mexico and I learned about a couple of cases of consultants sued for unauthorized use of scales mostly for selections purposes (nasty!). Unfortunately, in Latin America most companies have no regard for copyright issues. I think a quick glance at scholar.google.com would help you identify the instruments you are interested in, contact the authors directly and maybe they have Spanish versions of their work. Next, if you try the webpage of the Interamerican Society of Psychology, which is the biggest psychological association outside the US, http://www.sipsych.org/ <http://www.sipsych.org/> they now have available their journals online (but today the page is down!) and you can access published articles with the scales in Spanish, Portuguese or English.

I will post your inquiry to the organizational psychology task force of SIP iosip@itam.mx that I used to coordinate until a couple of months ago.

I am interested in organizational assessment tools (organizational climate, culture, leadership style, learning styles, etc.). My work and research is focused in building Corporate Universities in Latin America; therefore, there are several instruments I use in the assessment and analysis phase, but there are very few available instruments in Spanish and the costs of back translation are very high.
