    INTERNATIONAL THEME COMMITTEE (ITC)

2008 ITC Professional Development Workshops: Call for Proposals
DEADLINE IS NOV. 15, 2008, but early submissions are strongly encouraged.

    Dear colleagues.
I wish to encourage you to submit a proposal for a PDW that will fit with
the conference theme of "The Questions We Ask." The international theme
committee members are in a unique position to explore these issues.

This year, submission must be electronic. To submit a proposal, complete the
form found on the Anaheim Annual Meeting website,
http://submissions.aomonline.org/2008, under the Forms and Documents menu.
Collaboration with other committees and divisions is encouraged, but please
INDICATE ITC AS YOUR PRIMARY SPONSOR IN ORDER FOR ME TO HELP YOU OBTAIN A
SLOT. Please sequentially number possible co-sponsoring divisions/groups.
Send proposals only to the first/lead sponsor.

We are seeking interactive and innovative workshops that foster the charge
of the International Themes committee to:

Internationalize the Academy as an organization.
Help Academy members improve their understanding of the internationalization
of business trade and other forms of organizational transactions.
Encourage Academy members to become exposed to or provide exposure for
organizational scholarship being conducted outside of the U.S.
Assist the membership committee in its charge to expand internationally and
to integrate international members into the Academy.

    1. To submit a proposal, complete the form found on the Anaheim Annual
Meeting website, http://submissions.aomonline.org/2008, under the Forms and
Documents menu. Collaboration with other committees and divisions is
encouraged. Please sequentially number possible co-sponsoring
divisions/groups. Send proposals only to the first/lead sponsor.

Many thanks, and see you in Anaheim,

    Benson (ITC PDW chair)
