Given its commitment to providing access of women to academic positions, the University strongly encourages women to apply.

    Some background information:
Rank of appointment will depend on candidate background and experience. If the rank of appointment is at assistant professor level, the teaching load is relatively light (4hrs/week) so that the incumbent can focus on publishing. At professor level the average teaching load is 6hrs/week. The OB and Decision Making group is currently composed of three professors (focusing on decision making, leadership, discrimination, and organizational behavior and human resources in general). Two more hires (including this one) will be made: one in organizational decision making and one in organizational behavior. We have several doctoral students, an MSc Management specialization in OB, and are active in research at an international level. The language of interaction among us is generally English. Furthermore, our Faculty is currently hiring in several areas in management (e.g., strategy and ethics) and we intend to further strengthen our international reputation.

Lausanne is in a fantastic location, on the shores of the Lac Léman (Lake Geneva) and Switzerland has an unsurpassed quality of life. The Faculty of Business and Economics has a solid reputation in Switzerland and Europe.

    Requirements:
Solid research in any area of OB. Teaching will include Research Methods, Intercultural Management, and advanced courses in OB or HRM. For the full professor position, advanced courses possibly including applied statistics (e.g., advanced regression) will be added to the teaching load, depending on candidate background. Knowledge of French is initially not required. However, after an adjustment period, candidates should be able to teach in French.
