Assistant/Associate Professor, Marketing/Management, Business
The Business Department seeks a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, based on experience, beginning August, 2015. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate marketing/management courses, advising students, and conducting course assessment. Involvement in college governance and committee work is expected, as well as institutional development. Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing, Management or related area is preferred; MBA or related Master's degree is required, as well as excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills. Preference will be given to candidates with recent marketing/management-related work experience with demonstrated leadership experience. Evidence of having achieved excellence in college-level teaching is a plus. High value is placed on a team player who brings a variety of teaching interests. Strong preference is for candidates who demonstrate knowledge of innovative learning technologies and program delivery, along with online teaching experience in a highly collaborative discussion-based, asynchronous classroom. Experience at a small, residential campus as a student or faculty member is desirable. An understanding of the differences between a university and a small college, with the desire to work at a small, residential college is essential.

The Business Department seeks a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, based on experience, beginning August, 2015. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Money and Banking courses, advising students, and conducting course assessment. Involvement in college governance and committee work is expected, as well as institutional development. Ph.D. or DBA in Economics or related area is preferred; MBA or related Master's degree is required, as well as excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills. Preference will be given to candidates with recent economic work experience with demonstrated leadership experience. Evidence of having achieved excellence in college-level teaching is a plus. Assistant/Associate Professor, Accounting/Financial Planning, Business
The Business Department seeks a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, based on experience, beginning August, 2015. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate accounting and financial planning courses, advising students, and conducting course assessment. Involvement in college governance and committee work is expected, as well as institutional development. The hire will have primary responsibility for the Financial Planning BBA program. Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or related area and hold a current Certified Public Accountant designation and ChFC or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, or acquire within two years. Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills are required. Preferred qualifications include a doctorate degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or related area. Preference will be given to candidates with recent accounting and/or financial planning experience and related licensures with demonstrated leadership experience. Evidence of having achieved excellence in college-level teaching is a plus. High value is placed on a team player who brings a variety of teaching interests.
