    Hi,

    I am using Hofstede's scores for some research but he doesn't have scores for Luxembourg. Does anyone have advice on how I can estimate a score for Hofstede's masculinity index for Luxembourg ?

    Thank you in advance

    Jeanine;

    Don't know how you might estimate scores. But, have you tried either of his web site at: www.geert-hofstede.com/ or www.geerthofstede.nl/

    Dear Colleagues,

    I am normally careful when using Hofstede's scores now because they are from over 30 years ago and cultures do change.  Some change faster than others. If we were to collect the data again today, some of the scores for some countries/societies  might different today when compared to the original scores. For example, it might be possible that the score on masculinity might be lower for the US today, after all the changes in demographics and women's roles in society today.  Who knows?

    Thanks,

    Ivan

    Hi Jeanine,

    I assume you are familiar with the World Values Survey and have already checked it for relevant or related data for Luxembourg?

    I have a question of my own: is Hofstede's data easily available for download online (like the World Values Survey) - or did you have to ask him for it offline?

    Best regards,
