    The College of Business Administration at The University of Akron invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of assistant/associate professor. I have attached the details below. Please feel free to pass on this email to your colleagues.

    THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON
    Two Faculty Positions
    Assistant / Associate Professor in
    1) Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior and 2) Negotiations

    The College of Business Administration at The University of Akron invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of assistant/associate professor.

    Successful candidates will have an appropriate Ph.D. (or ABD near degree completion) and a strong record of, or potential for, quality research and teaching. Candidates must also have the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and the business community. Applicants who have relevant non-academic work experience will be given additional consideration. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

    1) The first position is for a position in HR/OB. This individual will cover a range of courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, depending upon candidate interests. HR is the largest major in the department of management.
    2) The second position is focused on Negotiations. Negotiation courses are required for marketing students as well as management students, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. It is an important area for the college.
