    Holger,

The text I like best is Gary Yukl's Leadership in Organizations, now in its
6th edition. Research based, it reviews the major leadership theories in
existence today and provides case studies which can be used for
    teaching/exercises.

As a companion, I recommend Jim Clausen's Practical Problems in
Organizations - a real gem when it comes to Case Studies. The instructor's
manual is one of the best I've seen or worked with.

    Warm regards,

    Drumm
