    UNC is hiring in both OB and strategy this year.  See below for the position announcements (apologies for cross-posting)...


    ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR

    The Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, anticipates a tenured, tenure-track, or fixed term faculty position in Organizational Behavior, starting <st1:date month="7" day="1" year="2008">July 1st, 2008</st1:date>.  We encourage applications from candidates with strong research skills who conduct scholarly work and publish in top-tier academic journals.  The successful candidate will be a productive researcher and a creative and effective teacher capable of contributing to the School's Undergraduate, MBA, Ph.D., and Executive Education Programs.  This position requires a doctorate, granted or nearly completed, in organizational behavior or related fields.

     

    Salaries are competitive, and substantial resources are available for faculty research. The <st1:place><st1:placename>Kenan-Flagler</st1:placename> <st1:placename>Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype>School</st1:placetype></st1:place> is located in a facility that provides excellent technological support for both research and teaching. The current faculty in organizational behavior and strategy include Dick Blackburn, Rich Bettis, Dan Cable, Jim Dean, Jeff Edwards, Alison Fragale, Adam Grant, Isin Guler, David Hofmann, Nandini Lahiri, Mabel Miguel, Hugh O'Neill, Atul Nerkar, Jeff Reuer, and Ben Rosen.  Faculty affiliated with the organizational behavior and strategy area include Howard Aldrich and Arne Kalleberg in Sociology and Barbara Fredrickson in Psychology.
