    The Clarkson University School of Business, an AACSB accredited institution, seeks candidates for a tenure-track or tenured (all ranks considered) faculty position starting in Fall 2008 in our Organizational Studies group. We are seeking dynamic, research-oriented candidates to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior. Interest and ability in teaching courses relating to negotiations, organizational change, and innovation/entreneurship is a plus. <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Clarkson</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place> takes an interdisciplinary approach to undergraduate education, and has nationally ranked programs in supply chain management and innovation/entrepreneurship.

    Clarkson is a nationally recognized research university. The organizational studies faculty members have published in leading management journals including the <st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management Review</st1:placename>, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management Journal</st1:placename></st1:place>, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organization Science, and Personnel Psychology. The teaching requirement for tenure-track faculty is two courses per semester. Salary is competitive and negotiable based upon qualifications. Quality teaching and scholarship are required for tenure and promotion.

    Assistant/Associate Professor in Management - Organizational Behavior

     

    Responsibilities
    The Department of Management in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Saint Joseph</st1:city></st1:place>'s University is currently recruiting for one tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate level in Organizational Behavior effective August 2008.  We are particularly interested in applicants who have competencies and interests in entrepreneurship with a secondary interest in either conflict/negotiations or diversity.

    Qualifications
    This position requires a Ph.D.; applicants that are ABD and in the data collection phase or later of their doctorate studies may be considered.  Excellent teaching skills are essential and the successful applicant will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with opportunities to teach in the Executive Programs.  Applicants must show a proven research record or demonstrate evidence of strong potential.
