Purdue University Calumet's Department of Marketing, Human Resources, and Management invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management position effective Fall 2008. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in management (particularly in the areas of leadership, negotiation, conflict management and/or change management), scholarly research leading to refereed journal publications, and participating in professional, university, and community service. Opportunities for interacting with regional businesses are excellent and encouraged.
Required qualifications: a PhD in management or a related field from an accredited school. ABD near completion will be considered. Candidates should have evidence or promise of scholarly research and effective teaching. Professional non-academic work experience is considered a plus.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications. We offer summer research grants and other forms of professional support.
