  • 1.  questions for a 'workacholism' construct?

    Posted 04-30-2007 16:29
Does anybody know of any questions or series of questions that have been
asked in survey-based research to measure respondent workacholism or being
    on 24/7???

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Steve,

Spence and Robbins (1992) developed a measure that was subsequently used by
    others as well.

JT Spence, AS Robbins; J Pers Assess. 1992 Feb;58(1):160-78.

Specifically, it has been validated by McMillan et al in: A multifaceted
validation study of Spence and Robbins (1992) Workaholism Battery
Source: Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology
    [0963-1798] McMillan yr:2002 vol:75 iss:3 pg:357

    Hope this helps,

    Spela
