Faculty Position: Human Resource Management
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to teach undergraduate, graduate (Masters, and Ph.D.), and executive-level courses in Human Resource Management.
Starting date: September 2007 or January 2008.
The Management Department at Baruch College is seeking candidates with a strong commitment to quality research and teaching. The ideal candidate will be interested in teaching in at least two of the fundamental areas of HRM: compensation, training & development, and employee selection. Practical experience is very desirable. The candidate's area of research is open: OB is okay. While a Ph.D. is required, a candidate who is nearing completion of the dissertation would be considered for appointment at the rank of instructor, pending receipt of the doctoral degree). Interviews will be conducted at the annual meetings of the Academy of Management in August and SIOP in April.
The Department of Management of the Zicklin School of Business has 38 full-time faculty members. It is comprised of five discipline areas: Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Operations Management, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship.
