The University of Washington Bothell (UWB) campus is located in a pastoral hillside setting 15 miles north and east of downtown Seattle in the Puget Sound region’s high-tech corridor. Built in 2000, the campus now serves approximately 1,700 traditional and non-traditional students in business, computing and software systems, education, nursing, and arts and sciences. Several interdisciplinary degree offerings allow students to span two or more of these areas.  UWB is one of three University of Washington campuses (Bothell, Seattle, Tacoma), and faculty members have full access to the resources of the University of Washington library, computing systems, and support services.

The UWB Business Program, founded in 1994, currently enrolls 425 undergraduate (325 FTE) and 75 evening MBA students. Most of our MBA students, as well as many of our undergraduates, have technical backgrounds and work in industries such as software, telecommunications, biotechnology, and aerospace. UWB business students often are characterized as entrepreneurial, technically savvy, and enthusiastic about applying classroom lessons in the real world. They appreciate one-on-one interactions with faculty members, emphasis on team-based learning activities, and rigorous, practical approaches to classroom teaching.
