    -          Callahan, Kiker & Cross (2003). Does Method Matter? A Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Training Method on Older Learner Training Performance, Journal of Management, 29(5), 663-680.

    -          Burke & Day (1986). A cumulative study of the effectiveness of managerial training, Journal of Applied Psychology, 71, 232-245.

    Good luck with your course.

    Dear Colleagues,

I am currently preparing an undergraduate course in Human Resource Development and am looking for key research articles that examine the effectiveness / strengths and weaknesses of various training methods, or compare and contrast different training methods. Any references you can pass on will be appreciated.

    Gratefully yours,

    Jamie
