Dear Madame or Sir,
We are currently conducting a meta-analysis on the relationship between team working and organisational effectiveness outcomes (i.e., performance outcomes and staff attitudes). The meta-analysis focuses on on-line teams (i.e., self-managed teams, lean teams, patient care teams, HR teams, etc.) as opposed to off-line teams (i.e., Quality Circles, problem solving groups, etc.).
I would like to kindly ask you whether you have unpublished manuscripts, recently published papers, or key information from unpublished datasets, that you would agree to forward to us for inclusion in the meta-analysis (email to: andreas.richter@ie.edu).
Should you agree to forward some of your work to us, then the ideal information would contain:
A.) For correlational studies:
- Name and example item of team working and outcome scales
- Cronbach's alpha of team working and outcome scales
- Means, Standard Deviations, sample sizes, and intercorrelation of both team working and outcome scales
- brief sample description (i.e., organisational context, what kind of teams)
B.) For (quasi-) experimental studies:
- Name and example item of dependent variables, brief description of experimental conditions
- Cronbach's alpha of dependent variables
- Means, Standard Deviations, and sample sizes of both dependent variables and experimental conditions
- brief sample description (i.e., organisational context, what kind of teams)
Of course, frequently not all of the aforementioned information is available. I would still like to ask you to forward manuscripts or incomplete relevant information that you may have to me. We will of course properly reference your work.
Thank you very much in advance. Your contribution would be most appreciated.
With kind regards,
Andreas Richter
