FACULTY POSITIONS IN OB/HRM AND STRATEGY/OT AT U. OF COLORADO AT DENVER &
HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER
Pending approval and funding we expect to hire two tenure track positions
to start Fall 2007: one with micro teaching and research interests (OB
and/or HRM) and one with macro interests (OMT and/or Strategy). Both
positions are in the management area, a distinguished area of the Business
School. The tenured faculty consists of Herman Aguinis, Ken Bettenhausen,
Wayne Cascio, Marlena Fiol, Blair Gifford, Ed O'Connor, and Sarah
Kovoor-Misra. The faculty member will teach four courses (3 hours each)
during a 9-month academic appointment. The position is 40% research, 40%
teaching, and 20% service.

Requirements: Qualifications: Required qualifications for the position
include a Ph.D. in Management or related field from an AACSB accredited
(or equivalent) university. Junior applicants must demonstrate potential
for excellence in research and teaching. Senior applicants must have a
strong research record including top-tier journal publications and
demonstrated teaching success.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications for the position
include a doctoral degree in Management or related discipline from an
AACSB accredited (or equivalent) university, evidence of high quality of
teaching ability, teaching experience at both undergrad and grad levels at
an AACSB (or equivalent) university, demonstrated success in publishing
scholarly research, experience or potential for successful interaction
with students from diverse multi-cultural backgrounds (e.g., international
and underrepresented minorities); experience or potential for successful
interaction with non-traditional students (e.g., working students with
families) in an urban university, and interest in a successful academic
career at UCDHSC. Successful candidates will show a commitment to
excellence in research and teaching. Candidates for advanced rank must
demonstrate significant accomplishments in research, teaching and service.
