We in the Management group in the School of Management at George Mason
University have opened a search for a seasoned scholar in the area of
Organizational Behavior/ Human Resource Management to join us in Fall
2007. Should you know of an appropriate candidate, I invite you to

Candidates must have at least two years of full-time faculty experience
at the time of application. ABD candidates will not be considered.
Appointment may be at any level, with tenure being possible for
associate and full professors. Salary will be commensurate with
experience and rank.
Additional qualifications are: (1) an earned doctorate in a business or
related discipline. (2) a track record of publishing significant
research in top-tier OB/HR journals, and (3) the immediate ability to
teach effectively at all levels, particularly at the MBA and EMBA
levels. We are especially interested in candidates who are prepared to
teach courses on Change Management or on Leadership at the executive level.

The Management group has 13 tenured and tenure-track faculty in the areas of
Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Strategic
Management, and Business Law. In addition, the Dean of the School of
Management is a scholar in our field, Richard Klimoski. We also have a
close relationship with George Mason Universitys excellent
Industrial/Organizational Psychology group. We offer a vibrant,
ambitious and collegial research and teaching community. Our business
community offers excellent opportunities for the conduct of field
research and the School of Management operates its own Human Subjects
Research Pool to support laboratory research.
