In line with the theme of this year's AOM meeting, we hope that some number
of AOM members who have never done research situated in government
organizations may wish to try to do so. We assume that many such people
have questions about gaining access, existing datasets, etc. This panel,
which will consist of a mixture of public management researchers and those
in non-academic groups that encourage work on the public sector, is
designed for government organization research "newbies" who would like to
have questions answered. Significant time for audience questions will be
provided.
This PDW, organized by the Public and Nonprofit Management Divison, and
cosponsored by a number of other divisions including OB, is scheduled for
Saturday August l2 at l0 am at the Hilton.
