    Dear Colleagues,

Many of you are already planning your Academy conference schedule.  I wanted to bring several exciting OB program sessions to your attention.  Please mark your calendar and join us at these events!

The OB Division is hosting a Welcome Reception on Saturday 6-7:30 at the International Ballroom in the Hyatt Regency.   The reception is designed to celebrate our fantastic roster of reviewers and welcome new members to the Division.  We hope that all of the Division members attending the Academy preconference will join us at this reception to make connections before the main conference officially kicks off.

Dr. Lyman Porter is this year's recipient of the OB Division Lifetime Achievement Award.  He will be presenting an invited address on Tuesday at 9AM (Hanover G, Hyatt Regency).  Make a connection with one of our Division's most distinguished scholars as he shares his "Personal Reflections on the Birth of the OB Field."

The OB Division is sponsoring an International Lounge at this year's meetings.  This is a new initiative designed to provide space and opportunity for international members to (a) meet and make connections with OB Division members from other countries and (b) generate ideas on how to help international members make connections with other OB scholars.  The Lounge will be open 10:30-noon Monday and Tuesday (Chicago A, Hyatt Regency).  Stop by for a coffee and a chat.

And finally, don't forget to join us at the OB Division Awards (Centennial Ballroom III and IV, Hyatt Regency) Monday at 6:30PM.  The awards ceremony segues into the Division's Celebration and Social Hour. In this annual event, we celebrate the accomplishments of our award winners, offer thanks to our members who have served the Division during the last year, reconnect with old friends, and make new connections.

    Hope to see you there!
