This might be the 10 minute break you've been looking for during the summer months.

Institutional Review Boards have become an increasingly important part of the process of conducting research for scholars in the areas of management, communication, and psychology, as well as many others.

My colleagues and I are conducting a study of the interaction between scholars and their IRBs. The study is design to increase our understanding of the relationship between the communication experiences of researchers with their IRBs and their attitudinal and behavioral responses to them.

If you are a researcher who uses human subjects in your research and have interacted with your Institutional Review Board, you participation in the study would be appreciated. We estimate that the entire survey will take you about 10 minutes to complete.

Your participation in the study is completely voluntary. If you participate, you can stop at any time and you may skip any questions you do not care to answer. Your participation will be anonymous; you will not be able to be identified as a participant in the study.

If you are willing and interested in participating in the study, please go to the website http: http://business.missouri.edu/asp/survey/takeSurvey.asp?surveyID=220  There you will find the consent process and the directions for completing the survey on line.

    Dear Prof. Kramer,
thanks for the invitation to the study, I would just like to mention that we
do not have IRBs in German Business Schools.
    Good luck with your study
