    Dear colleagues,
     
    We warmly invite you to submit your abstracts to the 4th Organizing Creativity - Transalpine Paper Development Workshop. The workshop is intended for academics who wish to develop their ongoing research related to creativity, spanning from Organization Theory to Organizational Behavior. The workshop is developmental: each paper will receive detailed, hands-on feedback from two senior scholars with a track record of multiple publications in creativity, as well as from early-career scholars with similar research interests.
     
    Participation will allow you be a part of a growing scholarly community of friends and colleagues who work to strengthen creativity research and look forward to new collaborations.
    Our target group
    Doctoral students with a strong working paper, Post-docs, Assistant Professors, and junior Lecturers.
     
    Research Topics
    We are open to all papers that contribute to the study of creativity, regardless of their theoretical perspective and methodological approach. Potential contributions include, but are not limited to, these research topics:
    1. Creative and cultural industries
    2. Creative-led policies for local development
    3. New ways and forms of organizing for creativity and innovation (hybrid group, intermittent co-presence, AI-augmented)
    4. Creative hubs and other collaborative workspaces for creativity
    5. Microfoundations of creativity (cognitive, social, affective)
    6. New methods for the study of creativity
    7. New theoretical approaches to creativity and innovation

    Application and Selection
    We encourage applications based on extended abstracts of approximately 1,000-1,200 words.
    Please ensure that your abstract clearly outlines the research question, methodology, and expected contribution to the field of creativity. Selection will be based on quality and relevance.

    The deadline for submitting abstracts is January 28, 2026. Abstracts should be submitted to creativity@jku.at. Notifications of acceptance will be communicated by mid-February 2026.
    Once accepted, participants will be asked to submit a full paper by April 24, 2026. Papers will be electronically distributed to all participants at the beginning of May 2026.
    We ask participants to read the papers in advance to foster constructive and developmental discussions.

    The workshop is held at the campus of Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria: Altenbergerstraße 69, Linz.

    Accommodation
    Participants are responsible for their travel arrangements and accommodation.
