Hello all, I hope you're well! I have a proposal for a PDW in the CAR space entitled: Building Career Acceleration Ecosystems: Integrating Coaching, Mentorship, and Sponsorship for Professional Advancement. It is a fast-paced 90-minute session, and for participants to get the most out of it, it requires more than one facilitator. Also, for the workshop to be as rich as possible with actionable insights, having a co-developer who has experienced a transition, is experiencing one, or helps others who experience one. Workshop Description
Across corporate and academic environments, career advancement in contemporary organizations increasingly relies on an assemblage of developmental relationships rather than on formal training alone. Coaching, mentorship, and sponsorship, while central to career scholarship, are often implemented in isolation, leaving professionals without a clear understanding of how these modalities can function together to accelerate growth. These developmental relationships enhance performance, expand access to opportunities, and build networks that accelerate professional advancement. They also help individuals cultivate the confidence, strategic clarity, and relational capital necessary to navigate uncertainty and pursue new pathways. These connections are key when seeking to transition to a new career or advance within an existing career, particularly in environments where informal networks and access to influential advocates shape long-term outcomes.
