Dear colleagues,

We are hoping to organize a presenter symposium on management fads (perils but also promises) for the 84th annual meeting of the Academy of Management to be held in Chicago on 9-13 August 2024. To date, we have contributions relating to paradoxes of authentic leadership and to the appropriation of mindfulness in management research.

If you are interested in taking part in this symposium, we would love to hear from you. For now, you could just send us a tentative title and a few sentences on the gist of your paper, so that we can see whether this could fit with the papers we already have and also whether we might be able to further narrow down the theme.

Dear,

I wrote my PHD about management fashions (the consumption of management fashions), a long time ago (2005), and had some publications about this topic. 

I was thinking, why not organizing a discussion forum about "researching fashionable topics ..  does it pay?" Generations have been in fashion as now is the sustainability issue (15 years ago it was called CSR) and all the stuff about  mindfulness and the alike.  I think so, but did not conduct any research on this topic.  And linked with that, how to recognize what will be fashionable.  Maybe this is a topic for a discussion forum, and I am certainly willingly to share my thoughts.

I would love to go back to "my old love " ..
