Dr. Rafael Wilms, Assistant Professor of Leadership at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, will share what truly makes people perceive someone as a leader in his talk: "Charisma and Voice Pitch: What Really Matters in (Female) Leader Selection?"
Based on three experimental studies, Rafael will show how charisma and voice pitch influence leader selection. These findings have important implications for HR practices, including leadership training and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
