Are you a mid-career OB scholar at the associate (or equivalent) level? Join us to explore what's next in your career!
The OB Division's Mid-Career PDW (ID: 18790) provides a platform for attendees to connect with senior faculty fellows, receive guidance, and ask questions about navigating the challenges and opportunities of this career stage. Discussion topics will be shaped by attendee input and may include:
1. Career enablers (e.g., joint appointments, sabbaticals, changing institutions)
2. Research advancement (e.g., finding new collaborators, securing grants, expanding publication portfolios through writing and editing books)
3. Leadership roles, service and engagement (e.g., department chair, center director, professional service)
4. Promotion planning
The Faculty Fellows represent a diverse group of senior faculty from different countries with varied career experiences. The workshop format is highly interactive, featuring a mix of panels and small group discussions.
