Dear all,
I'm working on a symposium submission on Incentives, Work Motivation, and the Professional Self. Looking for one or two more presenters to join. We currently have three presenters, one from Hong Kong and two from Chicago.
Would also warmly welcome two discussants who are interested in this topic to join us.
Research related to the research questions below is welcome:
- Are more monetary incentives the key to higher work motivation? How do cultural differences shape the nature of incentives, resulting in different effects on work motivation?
- What are the differences in perception and behaviors towards incentives among people from different cultures?
- What factors drive our professional pursuits and help form the Professional Self in different workplaces and in different cultures? Can a well-established Professional Self (concept) potentially lead to higher work motivation and better performance?
- [Open to more related research topics]
Looking forward to chatting more!
Best wishes,
Sherry [xiawei.dong@connect.ust.hk]
