Join our Compensation PDW at the 2026 AOM

We invite you to join our PDW "A pie to bake and slice: Linking pay to value creation, value capture, and human capital resources" (#12805) at the 2026 Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.

Through guided panel discussions and interactive roundtable sessions, we will examine how compensation impacts an organization's diverse stakeholders, including employees, firms, and society at large. Our goal is to anchor compensation research at the intersection of three core questions:

    • Value creation: How do compensation systems create value for organizations and society?
    • Value capture: How do different stakeholders capture value through pay?
    • Integration & emergence: How does compensation drive the emergence of human capital resources?

Engage with an outstanding lineup of panelists from around the globe:

Valeria Alterman - University of Miami

Peter Bamberger - Tel Aviv University

Alan M. Benson - University of Minnesota

Samantha A. Conroy - Colorado State University

Ormonde Cragun - University of Minnesota-Duluth
