The Psychology Department at Montclair State University is pleased to invite applications for a full-time, 12- month, non-tenure track, Assistant Teaching Professor position in Industrial Organizational (I/O) Psychology, to begin in September 2025. We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative colleague to teach graduate courses in I/O psychology and to coordinate the I/O Psychology Master's Program.
Candidates will ideally be able to lead the applied capstone course that takes place in the fall and spring, whereas additional courses may include graduate courses such as organizational development and organizational consulting, depending on applicant expertise and interest. The coordination of our nationally ranked MA program includes, recruitment and admissions, internship management and career preparation, and other responsibilities as administrative lead to this highly successful graduate program within the Department of Psychology. The MA program is well-supported by an engaged (I/O) faculty that take pride in its diverse student population, many of whom were first-generation college students, and in students' satisfaction with the program. The position is a two-year, twelve-month, non-tenure track appointment, with eligibility for reappointment based on established NTTP procedures.
