Dear AOM/MSR scholars and friends of "Voices of Asian Diaspora Group",
After our in-person gathering at AOM (it was so exhilarating to see so many of you in person) in Boston, we are back to virtual monthly meetings.
We would like to extend a warm invitation to you to join our monthly gathering at the "Voices of Asian Support Group." We recognize that being an Asian at AOM (Academy of Management) can come with unique challenges, and our aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you can connect with others who share your experiences and access valuable resources and support.
Our group is open to individuals who identify as Asian in the Diaspora community and their friends. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone's voice is heard and where mutual support thrives.
This month's gathering is scheduled for September 20th, Wednesday, at 10 am (EST), and we plan to continue meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Our meetings typically run for one hour, followed by an optional 30-minute social session.
This month's theme is "Mindful and Supportive Listening (reflecting on AOM and more)," where we aim to lend a supportive ear to one another, share recent events, good news, challenges and struggles. Together, we hope to exchange valuable strategies, support each other, and navigate challenges with grace and resilience.
